Anone, do you think that we are living in times, where information is so common, that no matter what we do, we will have easier times on grasping upon things during old age?
Isn't wise use of Internet a cure for dementia..?
Like.. look around - so much stuff's happening around, it's a 24/7 information stream with you holding control over the power switch. Unless you live in a heavily urbanized city, then it's near impossible to find an empty asylum.

On the other hand, books are coole.
I'm really curious how reading speed changed over the course of last few centuries - printing was a thing, it made every symbol of a similiar character to the one before.
It's also responsible for why we are reading. That we can do so, starting from mere plebejus to upper classes.
400, 500.. even 1000 words a minute is starting to become a norm in society, could you believe this?
How fast were people reading before Internet? How so before print was invented..?
I just thought it's pretty curious~
