>>693252I judge through the lens of a Human, because as a Human, that lens is all I am able to perceive. I cannot perceive God but I can know that He is real, the same way I cannot see a magnetic pull, but I can infer its existence by the evidence around me.
> How do you even know what your 'God' intend for you?I cannot know the entirety of God's plan and I cannot know what He intends for me. That said, He is a benevolent and righteous God, and I will trust Him to guide me to fulfill His will, which is my purpose as God's creation.
I can know how God intended me to live by studying the scriptures and applying their teachings to my daily life. I don't always succeed in doing so, but I know that is what God wants, and it is the only way I will live a truly fulfilling life.
> You are committing the terrible mistake of playing 'god'.I never professed to play 'god,' it is the height of hubris to imply that one's opinion or viewpoint is equal to the Creator of all things, and I would never presume to do so. The truth is self-fulfillment through living Christ's teachings, self-actualization through the fulfillment of God's will, and the achievment of self-contentment through God's love.
>>693276Exactly, I would prefer not to hurt someone, but if there is no other choice, it's morally rephrehnsible to do nothing. Every emotion has its rightful place in the Human psyche, anger is no different.
>>693287It's a circle-jerk indeed, but I rarely, if ever post, I prefer to lurk and understand their viewpoint and their arguments. If my faith can't withstand logical scrutiny, it isn't worth having.
>>693299Again, that's what Christ taught, empathy is what we should aspire to, but empathy is morally rephrehensible if it leads to inaction in the face of the death or harm of innocent people.
