I love currency which has strong nationalistic symbolism, displaying the sovereignity and monuments of the nation, one whose very appearance is expressive enough to identify its origin. The Russian Ruble, Egyptian Pound, and Danish Krone are beautiful examples of such currencies.
I am disappointed for the lack of creativity in stale repetitive currency that shares the same artwork except for variations in the colour palette and numerical value, such as the British Pound and the Indian Rupee.

It was merely a figure of speach, I'm well aware of the different layers that form the backbone of the crypto craze. My point still stands as the currency is often presented through GUIs which differ greatly from the aesthetic you'd find in classical bank issued and authorized mints.

I've been fascinated lately by the random people you pass day in day out
They're all so fucking sullen, inward, almost anxious to give eachother a look in the eyes
I've been actively prying for eye contact from everyone I pass by and it's insane what a difference it makes
If on the off chance they catch your eyes back you immediately see their face light up it's kind of amazing how that works
Almost as if they're pining to see a friendly face in between the hurried hustle and bustle
