Why is it that citizens of first world countries are much more depressed and suicidal than citizens of third world countries?

because people in third world countries are uneducated and uncultured and don't have as many burdens. they live off the land as little more than animals and pass without leaving a mark. there is no ego. there is no shame. they simply exist and have no reason not to.

I have family in the third world. It's more about just being happy with what they got I suppose. They seem much more family orientated too.

Plus they're much less materialistic, sure they want money but they're less inclined to waste it on the latest iPhone even if they could afford it
