Dutch people please help.

Could you tell me what the typical person has for

>breakfast
>lunch
>dinner
>snacks

What are the usual foods eaten for each of these meals?

Cereal or toast, if it's a weekend or something a "Full English" (sausages, bacon, eggs etc.)

>lunch
Since most people work it's usually a sandwich/pasty or a microwave meal, with crisps and chocolate

>dinner
Potatoes, vegetables and some kind of meat. Dessert is usually some kind of pudding.

>snack
Tea and biscuits

Breakfast
- Untoasted toast with chocolate sprinkles and butter, orange juice or milk as a side

Lunch
- Usually cold food, bread or something

Dinner
- Warm meal, mostly potato based. Expect gravy and boiled vegetables. Also worth noting, dinner is always strictly at 5:30pm and the whole family is expected to attend.

Snacks
- idk lol do what you feel. If you wanna go the full-on experience, prepare a platter with slices of cheese and sausage like >pic related. Or crackers with some spread on it is generally accepted among the older generations.

I was expecting something else, having just learned that the dutch are so tall partly because of their diets.

also, our hight is stabalizing. the early tallest guys got all kinds of illnesses and joint problems (the human body is not designed to be too tall). now we're healthy tall, and not mutant tall, but more of us are tall, instead of a few being super tall.

pindakaas is what we call peanut butter, but our version is superior to yours taste wise.

Potatos with meat and vegetables. Potatos might be boiled, might be baked. That differs from day to day. If not this traditional Ducth dinner, then asian food or just fries with beef croquette.

Ricewaffle, currant bun, some fruit, biscuits or candy.
