the entire session was just them trying to get out of this contract and failing miserably
my favorite failed attempt was one player popping all of his big abilities with daily cooldowns to shoot 4 super arrows at once before the imp even realized it was being attacked only for the first one to do more than twice the imp's health in damage because they're basically a worthless enemy.
it also turns out demons are immortal and just get sent back to hell if you kill them, so the imp got a much bigger demon to give him a ride back from hell. he thanked his buddy and then turned to the party and said "what the hell guys that was so rude"
