The revolution caused Murika to hate itself more. Then everyone copies what we do so now there's even countries that will put you to death over small drug charges.
All because in the early 20th centrul, assholes had to hate jazz (jass as in jizz) music so much and the culture that went with it, that they banned all drugs. Once the news became a thing we realised the temperance wasn't real, and so they started locking everyone up, and now murika is the country with the most of it's own locked up. Land of the free, with the highest incarceration rates, most of which are over non violent crimes.
I blame religious ethics evolving into bullshit laws.
