a man walks into a bar and sees some steaks tied to the ceiling. naturally he's confused and asks the bartender why they're there.
he explains that it's part of an ongoing bet. anyone that can jump up and slap the steaks gets free drinks all night, but anyone who tries and fails has to buy a round of drinks for everyone there.
the man looks around the room at how many people are there and thinks about how much it would cost him to fail. then he takes another look at the steaks and thinks he might just be able to reach them if he gives it all he's got.
in the end he decides that the stakes are too high
