Maybe it’s just me but I had a lot of tragedy in school growing up and it toughened me up.

Middle school 2000 6th grade (side note I also got super into metal, unrelated but FUCKING SLAYER!)

>kid nearly died getting hit by a school bus
2001
>kid nearly died getting electricuted when a falling wire hit him
>lost virginity
9/11
>Start carrying a switchblade on me which came in handy next year
2002
>get in a school bus accident, bus catches on fire special needs kid on bus needs seatbelt.
>Use blade to cut it and save their life.
>got 2nd degree burns carrying them out.

Hs freshman-senior bad things happen
>girl commits suicide in bathroom
>boy gets minor stroke jacking off
2004
>kid gets really mad punches a window cuts a major artery and dies in the class I was in. (Fuck you Ms. sky)
>guitarist in my band got a girl pregnant and was forced to leave the band to get a job.
>girl I was interested in committed suicide after she was raped on the same day in a stall
>friend Od’d On heroin and lost function in half of his brain
>girl I was very close too (just friends) in got pregnant and was miserable the rest of the time I new her.
>same happened to many other female friends
2005
>gang fight broke out and 4 kids got stabbed
>I got arrested for spray painting “fuck the police” with new guitarist in band as initiation on the football field sign (we liked the song by the band SODOM)
>kid shot himself outside of school
>drug ring got busted selling weed in our school
>got bullied for expressing far-right/ anarcho capitalistic beliefs.
2006
>started using 4chan just /pol
>2 gay kids od’d together in the bathroom holdin* hands
>couple more stabbings
>one girl in cheerleading broke her back and was crippled in front of the whole school.
Graduate

Now live happily with wife
Life is brutal
