For those of you who often ride a bicycle: how many times per year do you fall, be that skidding on ice, evading a person, etc.

i ride a cargo bike so its really dificult to fall, i do have to sverve a lot more now to avoid pedestrians because a lot of people who arent used to busy trafic (old people, kids etc) are out for the december season. AND it is very dark in the morning and after 16:00

this is the kind of bike i ride except mine has an electric motor, leather cover for the drum, kinda different chassies that makes it lower to get on and a 1500 lumen front light

Just interested.
I fell recently and when I told a freind about it he said that I should stop riding my bike since I fall off so much, but that mean conviniently ignoring all the other days when it goes fine.

Since riding perfectly every day of every year is statistically imposible I'm hoping to find an acceptable margin of error.

this is what it looks like from the front also, my bike bell broken when frost hit so i had to buy a new one
i nicknamed it "the red lightning" which is funny because since it is wider then a normal bike i often end up riding behind some old grandma or a girl who is talking on the phone riding very slow. thankfully most of the girls who are on the phone have stoped biking now because of the cold. grandmas still out though, bless them

the time i got clossest to crashing was i had a day where i forgot my glasses, went through a work day and then ended up at a bar with my student friends and i was riding home, very drunk and with no glasses, it was very scary and i felt like vomiting the entire time, thankfully it was at night and raining a bit so there were basically no other people, bikes or cars
made me make a rule to never ride my bike after more then 2 beers

Don't you worry about that, I've survived enough winters to know what I'm doing.

The problem is when you're going down an ice coverd hill with a group of people infront of you and no one is paying attention to the bike hurteling towards them ringing the bell.
