The city has some nice places and monuments, but if you really want to settle down and live here, I'd really recommend to pick some town not so far from large city, but not in the city. You will get bigger house, everything is cheaper and Prague isn't really a nice city to live in (not mentioning that there's shitton of thieves)
Also regarding English, older generation do not really speak English, but people around their 20's-30's know English pretty well, and those who don't will know at least some basics, so I wouldn't worry about that.
