A surprisingly large part of the replies said that it's worth it, but if you ever think about going to college, I wouldn't choose something I don't like or even have the slightest interest in.
I did that, and I'm completely burned out. I was a sad fuck before entering college, but forcing yourself for 3+ years to study something you don't like pretty much killed my spirit. But it just might be me.
Anyway, it was just an advice because I was very much like you and if I could change it, no matter how bullshit the thing that interests me is, I'd go for it.
