It's just that this version of USSR Anthem actually makes me shed some manly tears (literal tears) each time I listen to it. Again, from its sheer intensity, its power. It really feels like its the anthem of a great, powerful country. Whereas any version modern Russian Anthem that I heard, although good, powerful and all, just doesn't give 'such' a feel as this USSR Anthem.
That's why I ask — maybe I just didn't hear enough versions of it. Although I've heard dozens of them already.
