I was more implying embryos and sperm would be developed to slowly to give cat ear characteristics and eventfully regrow their ancestors tail since the bones necessary to connect a tail to a human are there but have probably shrunken a lot over time.
Not sure how you'd turn someone into a neko without horrific plastic surgery.
