I accidentally friendzoned a girl for two years in high school and she ended up hating me so much during the third year that she started spreading rumors I was gay. It wasn't until years later that I realized what I did, and I still regret it to this day. She didn"t deserve to be treated that way. Wish she'd be more direct about it though.
