have you tried a different type of shampoo recently?
I have the same issue where my hair gets super greasy super easily but a lot of that is that, if you shower too much you end up stripping the oils from your hair. Doing this makes your body think it needs to produce more to compensate. I'd switch your shampoo and, on days where you don't have to go anywhere, don't shower unless you decide to leave the house

yeah i've heard that, should i be using conditioner too so i don't overcompensate oils?

I used Head and Shoulders and it kinda does it for me. If I has apple cider vinegar and more backing soda I'd be using that to clean my hair and then get peppermint oil as a conditioner.
