I have a budgie. Let's say, hypothetically, that it dies in a couple of years.
What do I do with it's body? I can't get it buried on human cemetery, can I? What do people usually do?
Where did you bury your dead pet?

Mix room temperature butter with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, thyme and a little bit of sugar.
Rub onto bird so it's nice and covered with butter.
Oven roast for 1 hour 30 minutes at 170 degrees.

I doubt budgies are tasty. They are probably similar to pigeons given they live outdoors in Australia. And pigeons aren't tasty.

I wrap my pets in the blanket it would have used and bury it somewhere or rest it in the bushes for nature to reclaim. As a kid I mainly used to do the blanket thing, but as I got older I realized that what I should really do is make sure that it simply decomposes in a place where I don't have to smell it but it can still benefit the earth. If an animal came by and ate it, I would be happy, because that's nature taking it's course.

It really just depends on what would make you feel more at peace. I have an eclectus, she has about 40 more years to go so I dont have to worry any time soon but I'm going to get mine cremated so that I can have her in my home with me forever.
