how about this:
Welcome to the /bant/ pride lands!
public room link:
https://vrchat.com/home/launch?worldId=wrld_a6034bf5-7817-43e7-8b4f-59c1eff7d4ce&instanceId=51971everywhere the light touches can be used in this huge, but forgotten map, nice place for some new users to play around in
this is a public room, so expect randos to come in sometimes, vrchat users flock to where other people are, but that means you can invite your new acquaintances!
>do I need vr headsets for vrchat?HELL NO new users should try out vrchat in desktop first, vr sealegs need to be built in beat saber or other apps first, vrchat is for communication and fun between global users
>well what do I need?Processor: Intel® i5-4590 / AMD FX 8350 equivalent; or greater Memory: 4 GB RAM; Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 970 / AMD Radeon™ R9 290 equivalent or greater; Storage: 1 GB available space
(if you have issues on laptop (970m runs 90fps+), set the graphics low by hסlding shift when vrchat starts, running this in wifi is fine)
and a steam/ oculus account (free game)
>I dont want this polluting my steam usage, I'm not a FAGdont worry, you can make an unlinked account to steam and run it outside steam
>people are not loading in! vrchat's updates allow for blocking new user's "problematic" avatars (that fucking giraffe), go into settings(esc), safety and set up your own settings (or none at all!)
>what are all these custom avatars?you can copy some public avatars by selecting them and cloning them, or you can copy them in custom avatar rooms (worlds menu), if you want to make your own, you need to install unity and the vrchat sdk stuff (also how you increase karma is by making new models)
Come join! vrchat can be fun, and you can be silent if you want to, once you learn the characters emotes, you can express yourself like that, you socially inept weirdos
the /bant/ pride lands experiment is in no way related to vrchat devs.
[events and private sub/game/custom rooms to come later? here]
