One of my family members in Russia was beat up in front of a store and they broke his hands. He lost his construction job and his wife left him with the kid. Now he has to pay child support. I have great respect for Russian history, Russian history is fascinating but also very tragic. I think Russians had a very brutal history, all this traumatizing shit has created a unique country like Russia.

My family emigrated here when I was still a toddler and I grew up in Belgium. We came here around 19 years ago. I have never been back to Russia, not even on vacation, as to not get abducted by the military to do the mandatory military service. Japan for example had feminism pushed down their thoughts after they lost against the USA. Now Japan is suffering for it years later like any other country. If Russia did not declare themselves a multiethnic state then it would give others an opportunity to play the racism-card and rally the entire world against Russia. It's more of a pragmatic thing. It's hard to say if this stance is something the government and the rich in Russia actually believe or just theater to keep things calm.

It varies but some of the rural areas are Africa tier, public shitting, shantytown housing, school building that looks like a command center in Syria on the inside. The tier 1 cities are very comfortable and safe though, Shenzhen in particular was world class. You get more pussy there than in muslim countries or Korea/Japan but not as much as in Africa as a white guy.

I'm pretty adventurous though and I'm a nomadic loser, thinking about going to Syria when jobs become available, so comfort isn't always my foray.

Actually I was really worried when it was set in stone that I'm coming back, because before I lived a quite (((international))) lifestyle, traveling a lot and shit. I really thought that it will be really hard to adjust back after 8 years, but I guess its human nature to adapt, and the first year after I came back was actually the best year of my life no joke.
