He was the funniest character, but also the most soul crushing. That's Madao, or Hasegawa, ex-government official and now a homeless man estranged from his wife and daughter. He was fired after some political shit in like episode 12 when he beat up some alien prince or something for being stupid, i dunno it's been 3 years since I watched that episode. so now he's just been homeless the rest of the season and unlucky. whenever it looks like things turn around, the writers shit on his hopes and dreams, and shove them back down his throat
