>>74761>Your country did wellYes, despite our adversity we did well. That is not to say, we're perfect, but we're working on it.
>>74969I think with the new government in place, which is more conservative in nature, we'll have a reduction and simplification of the tax laws. Or we should anyway.
Idk I can't really pinpoint and say, *this* is what's wrong with India. There's many things. Corruption being the most perverse.
>>74985t-thank you anon (I think?)
>>75033As time passes the country will become more secular. I see it already happening with the youth. They think God is dead, are sexually promiscuous, smoke weed on the weekends. Etc etc. Whatever, that's another discussion.
Point is, superstitions will pass as India becomes more urbanised and are exposed to the global culture. Hinduism will slowly fade away into obscurity (I give it three more generations) or be transformed into some sort of new age spiritualism without the idol worship.
It's bound to happen. And with that you'll have a reduction in the social evil that is caste (which is strangely still present inconspicuously in the cities). Urbanization will also bring a breakaway from the joint family structure into the nuclear family. So more Independence.
I see it happening and the future is exciting.
