I'm annoyed at Launceston council. they are using firefighters to defend a fucking fireworks show, in the middle of a total outdoor fire ban. not even the food vans at the event will be allowed to serve brisket as planned, due to high temperatures (over 100°F in freedom units). meanwhile there are 8 active fires threatening homes, and mandatory evacuations for dozens of towns across the state.

talk about priorities.
