I also use doulingo, i bought russian keyboard stickers and i try to learn daily, and watch some simpler russian videos and the like
Learning with someone and making it a competition really motivates you too, so try to get someone to do that
Since russian is basically phonetic and doesnt have shitty rules like english, write down all the russian letters and their sounds, and speak them
I think i know about 200 words by now
