Any legal ID papers require background checks. Even if you have something that looks convincing you won't actually show up in whatever system they use to confirm who you are. It's not entirely the same situation, but there have been refugees here in Norway who were deported for applying for asylum with false information like the wrong middle name.
Marrying will also require background checks, even more so will adopting. Good luck anyway
