Hi /bant/
Casual visitor from /pol/ here, but felt this was more appropriate for this board.
There is this fucking telecom company in Canada called Bell, one of the two major carriers in the country, and they utterly gouge people for their shitty service. Every year they do a promo called Bell Let's Talk under the guise of promoting mental health, where they donate 5 cents or something every time someone tweets or posts with #bellletstalk. Normies everywhere are hashtagging this to feel good about their slacktivism and advertising for a trash company.
Well I don't give two shits about mental health, I think it would be pretty jokes if someone smart on here could build a twitter bot that could spam the hashtag thousands of times. If it happens enough, This would force them to:
1. Pay all the donations, which they probably don't want to do, and at worst the money will go to charity.
or 2. Refusing to pay, looking stingy, and possibly shutting down this stupid promo in the future.
Thots?
