one time in manchester i went to a diner to have lunch. there were kids in school uniforms there. I figured they knew the area and if that was were they went surely that place must be good.
i was served a brown mass that was supposed to be beef. i think it actually must have consisted of a mixture of horse-hoof and ground up fish-eyes with food colouring.
it came with a side of half frozen peas and carrots, ketchup and the obligatory twirly fries.
i was in tears. a week later I'd be eating actual food again. but those kids? no.
i shudder to think that the garbage in that restaurant would be better than their school lunches for them to go to that place..
