first a health and safety guy told us about how to deal with booboos, who to report bad stuff to,what to do in different emergency situations, etc. most of that wasn't stuff that will be relevant frequently but is good to know
second was the head of security who just droned on and on about how much security has improved since he started working there and how there's so much security because the facility has so much throughput that it's a great target for thieves and security will only be getting tighter from here on out. he was really annoying and most of what he said was worthless, but he told us what to do if we lose/forget our badges and it is good to know what extra security we're going to need to be dealing with soon.
last was a lady from HR who said absolutely nothing in close to an hour and was really bitchy. i'm also confident she was homophobic based on how she was talking about gays when telling us that we can't discriminate against them which isn't really relevant but i think is pretty funny
