My son was born in 2003. I decided to make an experiment and told him that it was 1983. I controlled everything that he saw, old commercials on youtube and re-created the timeline through controlled media. He was so happy when he got his original gameboy in 1989 (2009). It's a lot cheaper and now I can controll what he believes so it protects him from toxic reality. I modded my own gameboy in 2012 to show a smartphone display and told him that it's because I have super powers and the only way for him to get them is to do 1000 pushups a day. I'm worried that I can't keep this reality up much longer, I read a book that say it could damage his brain, but I try to think about it so I chain smoke cigarettes 24/7. Has anyone else done this and what tips do you have to keep him learning reality?? He's starting to get curious when he sees me browsing the internet and watching ABC News.
