Alzheimer's Guy was forced but turned organic, especially when the mods removed all the posts.
Aside from that, this board is forced or stolen memes.
The only upside is that /pol/ has slightly less trash on it and threads that don't belong on /pol/ are being moved here.
They could have just as easily routed semi-off-topic things to /s4s/ or /trash/ and promoted those boards more instead of creating /bant/.
But I can't complain too much, I spend a lot of time on /bant/ and find it moderately enjoyable.
