>>7459530Anime suffers from tropes, predictability, meaninglessness, propaganda, addictive fanservice similar to drugs, and general bullshit.
I noticed the current day tropes have always been around since the 80s, but, a theory of mine, I believe that today's anime trends were created in this way:
-the people who were inspired by the 80s anime styles made the 90s animes
-the people who were inspired by the 90s anime styles made the 2000s animes
-the people who were inspired by the 2000s anime styles made the 2010s animes
...so on so forth. This part matters because culture changes continuously.
I also believe animes began to lose meaning and also became redundant in the way.
Execution of creating quality graphical animation work is greater than its ever been before and the inspiration (inspired by what came before) carried forth the authors of the new anime and mangas.
It becomes intricate.
Those who influence culture input > culture > the people > peoples efforts > output
Generally we have our culture to blame for the shittiness of anime; similar to how movies today suck ass. The culture creates the foundations for which people act in the world. If culture deteriorates or becomes corrupt, people begin to eat shit and ass and later, themselves, become the shit and ass. Narratives and popular ideology influence the way we carry ourselves in everything we do (tribalism in a sense) and effect the quality of person in many ways (decrease individuality, increased dependency, slaves to ideology). People then go in the industries, including entertainment industry, and use what they were taught by culture through their efforts. Result is ass given that culture is ass. Anime is one of the results.
We have lost meaning to things we do and need proper guidance. Therefore, anime has lost meaning and needs to be guided by the right people in order to get better.
The way anime is today is an inherent problem and is nearly unfixable. To fix anime, fix the damn culture.
