>>7488845>bring already existing audience over from youtube or whateverthis, I keep saying this in "hey /v/ how stream?" threads like this
the best way to become a popular streamer is infact to not actually stream and instead make a youtube channel
There are SO MANY different people who are at least SOMEWHAT successful streamers because they got a following on youtube.
It is much easier to get noticed on youtube than on twitch, because people watch a lot more video makers than streamers, even if it's less in total duration. If you can make a very good 5 minute video on some subject & get it trending on reddit or whatever somehow you're already on your way. It takes quite a bit of consistent good videos but once you have a youtube audience it's SUPER easy to convert to streaming, it won't make you a twitch star, but you'll have the first like ~25 consistent viewers, which is all you need to grow as a twitch streamer, because like ~99% of the twitch channels have less than 25 viewers.
If you go look at fortnite on twitch right now, there's ~140 channels with more than 25 viewers.
On average there's like ~10k people streaming fortnite (according to

if you are one of the people with below 25, or even worse, below 10 or even 5, you're just plain fucked
