umm excuse me but planet australia actually has 6 seasons. the north half of the country has nun season (dry, closed legs) and slut season (wet as fugg). the southern half has summer, summer, wind season and "the darkness". currently the state of qld is experiencing slut season and 50% of their cows have drowned, slightly further south the darkness has enveloped NSW and the silent hill demons are out in full force. below that is hell,obviously, and below that further is tasmania, hell's open prison island. people who are naughty here usually get eaten by the watchful ant guardians.

Because Tasmania shares their equipment with South Australia and they are ignoring us probably they don't know we are even part of the country. They use helicopters that can carry 9.5 tons of water. The pissy little local helicopters can only carry a ton at a time. One metre cubed, hardly anything.

Due to the smoke spreading for kilometres from the front of the fires, people had trouble putting them out because they couldn't see them easily. Also because it was *a lot* of fire.
