It was okay, they made me take a test the first day and then they had me and the other applicants stay in a pretty nice hotel.
We had to wake up the next morning at 4 am and be on the bus to the MEPS again by 6:15 am for medical examination and something that can be equated to an interrogation about your medical and criminal history.
Not going to bother going through the specifics of what happened, since that could fill up an entire thread, but it was a very stressful day.
Did I like the process? No not at all, they disqualified me at first for something about my back and I had to go back a few months later and see a consult before they'd approve my waiver.
They try everything they can from mind games to threats to get you to crack and either admit to something you didn't do or get you to admit something about your medical history that could get you disqualified. Reckon, they have to do that if they want to keep the highest quality applicants, but to the rest of us who don't lie it sucks. A lot.
