The scarlets. Vampires come from Transylvania, which is rightful hungarian core land, especially 500 years ago. "Scarlet" in hungarian is "Veres", an actual hungarian noble family from Transylvania. The word derives from "véres" = "bloody", the connection to vampires is self evident. Furthermore, hungarian people, along with japanese are part of the ural-altaic/turanic group, with similar folk tales and mythology. Hungarian nobility developed an interest in eastern cultures especially fellow turanic ones from the 1700s onward, this explains their presence in gensokyo, a land of turanic japanese mythology. There have also been streaks of larping as westerners due to the influence of the Habsburgs and HRE, which can explain their names, or it might just be translation. They represent a mysterious, ancient people, powerful, wise and sophisticated, as we have contributed more to human advancement than any other, all cherishing our benevolent leadership from east (Sakuya and Meiling) to west (Patchouli). We may be few but powerful, able to punch above our numerical weight.
