The game is getting major updates, even after you bought it nearly a decade ago. Developer team are real sweathearts and there's enough content to keep you occupied for at least 100 hours if you know your shtick and won't spent another one hundred not knowing what to do, what you can and whatnot.
Plus there are mods - countless of mods, adding to the game as much as Factorio mods can add.
