people were just shot. fingers are going to be pointed, and the shooter pointed at the internet for a wasted, hateful life. Now, the lens is on all of us.
He's the problem though. Everything on the internet exists because of a person. Even the bots were made by a human somewhere in the world for some reason. It is a collective unconscious where once one person learns something (or in some cases think something) everybody with access to a free internet can know it, the moment it's been uploaded.
Humanity never dealt with this, except for small town bullshit that swung the world. (check history. The "why's" are usually the "so dumb it's funny" parts. It's the "what's" that make you question humanity.)
Now, (as in 2019) the record of precious human knowledge and cool things to do with it, as well as instantaneous, point to point, worldwide video communication has been completed.
This is new. Humanity is slowly getting scared of what it created. And we trashed it so hard kids are trying to get College Degrees in "playing videogames while talking"
