I have this persistant feeling regarding society. Its hard to describe. its as if modern society is just a curtain hiding the monster of our past and its the fear that newer generations are begining to forget what's back there. ive talked to a few people only slightly younger than me and they seem to have no concept of how our modern a inconviniences are preferable to the alternatives. they seem to not understand that there is an alternative and that we have come a long way from there. Its as if they they see only the small imperfections and frayed edges and like a fidgety child they cannot help but tug on them. Its like they have only known progress and they truly believe all movement is forward, all change is progress.
