Burnout is cruel.yeah. honestly i never enjoyed large band practices that much, i just liked playing the instrument. unfortunately the chances of me finding a woodwind ensemble or something without several more years of concert band. i also really disliked marching band which i likely would've had to do if i wanted to do concert band.
i could potentially get into composition, but it's a really dense thing to self teach especially with limited free time now that i have a full time job instead. i like bass guitar but training finger strength/flexibility is god awful and it's not the greatest to play solo. i might look at trying out the drums soonish.
