Hello /bant/. It's been ages since i've been here.
I used to post here occasionally but I was mostly on /mu/. I was the guy who made the /bant/ flag. Anyway I've made a full transition in to being a normie and wanted to share something I've learned which I wish someone told me when I was posting here, I was in a dark place at the time.

Don't fear change, embrace it. So much wild shit has happened to me since I was posting here back when this board was made, I was lonely and depressed and stuck in a place I thought I could never leave. I had enough honesty with myself to know that I wasn't happy with who I was as a person, and started to chase new beginnings and horizons.

I think we all have something in common where no matter how shitty this board gets we keep coming back here. Or if not here then some other board on this website. We meme to each other that we're stuck here forever, but we all have our whole lives to get up to shit and experiment. Try out new things, change and grow to improve ourselves.

I don't want to preach to you guys or act better than you, but I'm genuinely happy now and want you all to feel the same. I remember there were a lot of really cool people on this board and genuine talents.

I hope this gives someone at least a little motivation, the same way my shitty flag becoming a meme gave me some motivation to keep putting my work out there.
