>>7781579In 1992, Ivan Kramberger, an eccentric inventor and philanthropist began his campaign for the parliamentary elections. He got a lot of support in the presidential elections, although not enough to win but he was still gaining support. Before one of his rallies, he was shot and he died minutes later. The cops arrested the alleged shooter who allegedly shot Kramberger from the top floor window of his house, through a tree top, hitting Kramberger in the middle of a crowd with a rifle that was later tested and proven to shoot to the right, all while blackout drunk. In the neighbouring house that had a much better view of the site, the owner wasn't home that day but he had gotten drunk with the alleged shooter the night before. Their glasses and bottles were still around but a third glass was found on the table that nobody could explain, but it wasn't included as evidence. In the second floor of the house, they found a chair with a footprint that was standing right by a window and the sitting part of it was taken off and taken as evidence, but it was lost before it could be analysed.
The interior minister reached the site of the assassination in mere minutes (flying from Ljubljana to a village near Maribor) and one of the first cops on the scene would later become an infamous corrupt mayor of Maribor. The drunk "shooter" was put in prison for a few years and everything became quiet about the assassination.
