just today it struck me that the plot of SpongeBob is pretty depressive, I guess I was too slow to get that
a manchild lives in the middle of nowhere, working a dead-end burger-flipping job, with a boss who's a huge jew
his only "friends" are a downie and a depressed suicidal loser who hates him. the rest just hate him and take him for an immature loser
the only bright spot in his life is a tomboy he befriended.
