Then my dad was looking for something in that part of the property a couple of days later and discovered that something dug the cat out and nibbled on it a bit. He buried the corpse again but weeks later, something dug it out AGAIN, except this time there was just fur and bones. It still stank, though, so I made sure to walk at a particularly brisk when cutting the grass there.
