>>7845579bro, I don't know where you read it. but you have a kind of wrong picture of Russian "oligarchs". there were a lot of those in the 90s, when the country was in shambles. they owned nearly everything, banks, oil and media. they controlled the politics. there was a whole lot of degeneracy and anti-nationalism promoted on TV too, remember T.a.t.u.?
then Putin came and quickly gave them the boot. some moved to Israel, others to UK/wherever. now anyone rich is under the influence of Putin, otherwise they quickly wind up in the same place as Khodorkovsky.
it's not to say there is no corruption in Russia. we surely aren't perfect. but I'll tell you what we don't have. we don't have postmodernist bullshit. there's no "white guilt" in Russia, no identity politics, no propaganda of degeneracy/feminism/etc. there's no subverted academia, no Hollywood to tell me how racist/sexist/bigoted I am. there's no special rights for immigrants, no daily shitting on Christianity and Russian nation. there's also no militant political correctness or firing people for "hate speech".
in other words, Putin acts in national interests of Russia.
before Putin, economy was in shambles. under Putin, economy has had stable growth. yeah, it might not come at once like a miracle. but the difference is, you in the West have had decades of capitalism. we've had 70 years of socialism, then 10 years of hyper-corrupt crony capitalism and lawlessness, that made many people miss socialism.
the difference between Russia and US is, in Russia we have elites which act in our national interest. In US, they act against your nation.
