Christendom was a late addition here so we never left our pagan traditions. It's generally celebrating the fact that it's not cold as hell any more.
Easter thursday - Jebus last supper - kids dress up as witches, go from house to house asking for candies, compare to halloween (except it's piss cold and dark in october so we don't do that).
Good friday - Jebus gets nailed - nothing really happens.
Easter saturday - Jebus ded - hide easter eggs with candy for kids, also a bigass family dinner with eggs and pickled herring.
Easter sunday - Jebus returns - hung over.
Monday after Easter is a holiday because people are hung over.
