(you) can care about things (you) are into but nobody else probably will be. Myself for example. I've got a huge problem with connecting with people because of my naturally militant hobbies (guns, military tradition, military history, etc) that nobody really seems to share on the same level that I do stave a select few. I personally think Nam was aesthetic asf and the late era ERDL-HL Deltas were the most aesthetic.
You see even though people blank out when you talk about what you're personally into it gives you personal fulfillment knowing this is something you love to its core. Possibly forever.
The other end is of course being into something for status such as the newest game, clothes or designer label being thrown around by [insert rap star here]. People who are into things in this way are outwardly fulfilled which is fulfillment in a hobby that is acknowledged by your peers as positive. Take for example if you go camping with some frens but don't like camping. You'd be outwardly fulfilled because all your frens are acknowledging your presence within a shared hobby. This makes them feel close to you which in turn should make you feel close to them. Them sharing an activity with you gives you the outward fulfillment of being accepted by peers.
Either way people do care about things just for different reasons.
Same for (you) anon. You just have to give something reason whether it be inward or outward to give yourself fulfillment.
Oh and if you don't want to listen to me remember I actually live a pretty good life by comparison to most people here.
Take that into consideration.
