i originally assumed this total fucking aids behaviour, totally alien to me who has spent just about every waking hour on this piece of shit website, was because of election tourists from reddit who found /bant/ coinciding with the trump election who didn't seem to understand anonymous internet culture or how to use the website. that would explain all the discords, all the tripfagging and attention whoring. maybe its because there's a new generation of users on 4chan who have no concept of anonymous internet culture at all.
