people bend rules like that all the time to let people do stuff that's interesting or just make up new classes sometimes

the idea boils down to the character being a gravekeeper that got killed and made into a spooky skeleton and he's pissed about it so he's going on a crusade to free other zombies' souls or whatever by grinding them into paste with holy magic
