Every two years or so me and my older brother travel to Freiburg in Germany to visit our grandma. Every time I go my older brother makes friends and meets a girl or two and they typically keep in touch after he goes back to America. I, being the 4chan browsing autist that I am, have trouble. I don't understand.

My brother speaks broken German and no one gives him a hard time, but everyone seems displeased with my German instead of his. My brother drinks beer at the local beer garden and gets loud and people find him funny / charming / goofy. I get drunk and I am just loud and my jokes don't land. My brother, although pretty fit and strong, is only 5'8 and I am an even six feet tall. By all accounts I should be the more attractive brother. Women seem to come to him. I just want to have some better social tools

How do I fit in there? I want to at least make a few friends while I am there like my brother does. Should I start lifting like my brother? Should I talk more when I drink?
