You have to watch who you give aid to though because it might just be going in the pocket of corrupt rulers anyway like that one country with migrants fleeing from it. We use to give tons of aid to some Central American nation and the rulers didn't' do shit with it but buy fancy cruise ships, I can't remember which one it was though.
