I'm going to Sicily soon to see the Greek ruins, and was hoping some anons could give me the run down. Stuff to avoid, stuff not to miss, etc. Probably will mostly be in Syracuse and Agrigento, but will check out Etna too obviously. Just curious what the place is like, what the people are like, etc. I've heard southern Italy is kind of a shithole, but not sure if that applies to Sicily or not.
